Cavs bar NYC watch party Warriors Browns Backers
The Big Apple Browns Backers of NYC will be hosting a watch party for the Cavs vs Warriors game on Monday, Jan 15th, 2018 (MLK day) at our home-base of Brother’s Jimmy Murray Hill, 181 Lexington Ave (NE corner of E. 31st).

Tip-off is 8pm. Come celebrate with us!

Cleveland fans, we’re the largest and most rowdy Browns Backers club in NYC (and arguably the country) — this will be the first event at our new Cleveland bar. Spread the word: we moved from our old Union Square location (which is now permanently closed to all business).

We’ve also got new Open Bar & unlimited food packages just for you:

– Choose between three different open bar tiers (below)
– All tiers include the following unlimited food items: wings, nachos, BBQ sliders, hush puppies and tater tots.

We’re now the ‘Big Apple Browns Backers’ and moved to Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill

Cleveland Browns Backers NYC Brother Jimmys Murray Hill
Effective immediately, we’re moving our location from Union Square to Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill and re-branding as the Big Apple Browns Backers.

We’re still your home for all future Cleveland Browns, Cavs and Indians watch parties in New York City, but we’re getting a well deserved upgrade and face-lift.

We’re also the same folks running the show — Noah, Sean, Lexi and yes, the beloved Shot Penguin.

Formerly the Union Square Browns Backers, we are using this opportunity to better serve Cleveland sports fans in the Big Apple. Over the past 7 years, we’ve grown to become THE destination for all Cleveland sports in NYC, with crowds topping 700+ for Cavs and Indians playoff games. Thank you, the fans, for all your dedication and support.

Because of this, our loyal friends at Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill have renovated their massive basement just for us to create a Cleveland safe-haven for our fans: a full bar with familiar bartenders, full-menu & dedicated wait-staff, 12 TVs plus 2 projectors, full audio, and Cleveland-only food & drink specials.

For Cavs and Indians playoff games, we’ll have the entire bar and dining areas, upstairs and downstairs.

What can you do to help?

1 – Tell your CLE friends that we’ve moved. The Union Square Brother Jimmy’s location is permanently closed to all business.

2 – Give us a positive review on Google. We really appreciate this one. If you feel so kind, give us a positive review on Facebook as well.

3- Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We won’t spam you with nonsense, but it’s the best way to stay informed about watch-party announcements and the occasional dank meme when applicable.

4 – Officially join our chapter. It’s 100% free and takes 5 mins to join through the Browns Backers Worldwide website.

We’ll also be hosting Cavs NYC watch parties at our new home Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill for the big upcoming Cavs games; more details on that next week.

  • Cavs vs Warriors on Jan 15th @ 8pm
  • Cavs vs Celtics on Feb 11th @ 3:30pm

Union Square Browns Backers of NYC Invade London!

Several members of the Union Square Browns Backers made the journey from New York City across the Atlantic to jolly ‘ol London, England for the Cleveland Browns Week 8 game versus the Minnesota Vikings.

Highlights included Browns owner Jimmy Haslem pouring beers behind the bar at the Browns Backers party on Saturday night, spotting Browns legends Hanford Dixon, Josh Cribbs and Jim Brown, and what turned out to be a beautiful day for football at Twickenham stadium (despite the loss).

Check out our photo album featuring the best of our member’s pics from the weekend long festivities and game day.

We’re 100% having a 9am watch party in NYC for the Cleveland Browns’ London game

Cleveland Browns Burning London to the Ground

The Union Square Browns Backers will 100% be hosting our NYC watch party for the October 29th Cleveland Browns game in London. Doors open at 9am for the 9:30am kickoff. We’ll be upstairs at the main bar and have the entire place to ourselves.

Our amazing hosts at Brother Jimmy’s BBQ have put together an exclusive food and festive drink special for the occasion:

  • $25 gets you a breakfast buffet (eggs, tots, bacon, build your own breakfast tacos) and unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys and Coors Light drafts.

Why are we doing this, you ask? Why wake up so early on a Sunday morning after what will likely be an aggressive Halloween Saturday? Why subject ourselves to yet another embarrassing display from the incompetent gaggle of clowns that are the Cleveland Browns, in what will be yet another loss on their march to an 0-16 season? Because we’re gluttons for punishment and our parents never hugged us as children.

So come join us and your fellow CLE fans as we watch Hue Jackson and Jimmy Haslam bring their factory of sadness dumpster fire across the Atlantic and BURN LONDON TO THE GROUND.

Free shots if you show up in your Halloween costume from the night before.

And if you haven’t already, please take 5 minutes to join our chapter through the Browns Backers website. It’s free and helps us gain recognition among other chapters around the country.
