We’ve got the entire place at The Liberty (upstairs and downstairs) with over 150-200 seats both at tables and the massive center bar (sits 30-40), loads of standing room (up to 200+) and most importantly: absolutely no other fans & no other games being shown on Sundays!

Our new location is very easy to get to via public transit:

As always, no reservations during the regular season for Browns games – so make sure you come early if you want a specific table. Doors open 90 minutes before kickoff!

We’ll also be hosting TWO Cleveland Browns games in the Big Apple vs the Jets & Giants, with Welcome Party & Tailgate details forthcoming once the schedule is confirmed.

You can get to and from MetLife stadium via the train, bus from port authority, or Uber, all of which are detailed on their stadium website. Note: buses start running 2.5 hours before kickoff. Our tailgate starts 5 hours before. Do the math.

cleveland browns fans draft party nyc 2018
The Big Apple Browns Backers of NYC will be hosting our 2019 NFL Draft watch party on Thursday, April 25th at 8:00pm at our official viewing location, Brother Jimmy’s Murray Hill.

For the first time in forever, we don’t have a 1st round pick (unless Dorsey makes moves, which would surprise no one).

BUT THAT DOESN’T MATTER! We’re still going to have our annual draft party, aka Super Bowl Warm-Up Party, talk football with our fellow Browns fans, welcome new fans who have recently moved to the Big Apple (and those who have jumped on the OBJ bandwagon — you’re still more than welcome).

For all Browns fans in attendance – you get to make your own PICK from our draft specials:
– 1 free draft beer
– 1 free shot
– 1 free order of tater tots

We’ll be upstairs at the main bar, with the front stage area and all the tables by the bar reserved for Backers.

Join our Cleveland Browns watch party in NYC this Saturday night, Dec 15th vs the Denver Broncos. As a thank you for our loyal patronage, our friends at Brother Jimmy’s are giving away FREE Coors Light for an entire hour before the game (7-8pm).

Kickoff is officially at 8:20pm but be sure to show up early for free beer and to grab prime seats for this PRIME-TIME game.

Brother Jimmy’s is also hosting a PAC-MAN tournament on their massive 12 foot machine the same Saturday night at 7pm. Details & Registration here for anyone interested.

Visiting from out of town? You’ll feel right at home with the Big Apple Browns Backers, the largest Cleveland Browns Backer location in New York City, and arguably the most exciting (and 100% the rowdiest) chapter in the entire country.

As a reminder, Broncos and Steelers fans are NOT welcome in our downstairs CLE-only safe-haven (see Rule 7 & 8), even if you’re attending with a Browns fan. You’ll be asked to leave and go upstairs to the main bar, which has plenty of TVs and seating for shitty teams like that. Continue reading

10 things you need to know about the Big Apple Browns Backers of NYC

2018 will be the 8th year for the Big Apple Browns Backers, the largest Cleveland Browns Backer location in New York City and arguably the most exciting chapter in the entire country. We’re a rowdy bunch and like our CLE sports misery mixed with a healthy dose of alcohol.

We’ve worked hard to build an amazing community of Cleveland fans living in NYC and pride ourselves on welcoming all Browns fans into our flock.

Visiting the Big Apple for the weekend? Cleveland-native that recently moved to NYC? 1st-time fan that’s all aboard the HYPE-TRAIN after watching ‘Hard Knocks’? JOIN US!

We’ve got a massive private room (it’s the entire downstairs level), food & drink specials, and our own bar plus dedicated wait-staff.

Here’s everything you need to know about enjoying your Sunday with the Big Apple Browns Backers:

  1. We only show the Browns game. (All other NFL games can be watched upstairs)
  2. If you refuse a free shot by the Shot Penguin an angel loses it’s wings.
  3. Be nice to your bartender & wait-staff and remember to tip with appreciation.
  4. No reservations. We’re believe in communal / lunch-room seating. Get friendly.
  5. Doors open 75 minutes before kick-off (aka 11:45am).
  6. This is our church: treat the bar and space with respect.
  7. Fair warning: we don’t play nicely with other fans. If for some stupid reason you’re rooting for our opponent that week, you will be asked to leave and go upstairs (this counts for any friends or significant others you might bring).
  8. Steelers fans are strictly prohibited: they will be mocked relentlessly and escorted out by security.
  9. Plate breaking after a tough loss has been known to happen. Please ask management approval beforehand.
  10. And most importantly, always remember: THIS IS OUR YEAR!
