2021 marks our 11th season as a Browns Backers bar in NYC! We are the ONLY Cleveland Browns Backer location in New York City and the most exciting (and rowdiest) chapter in the entire country.

We will be hosting NYC watch parties for EVERY Cleveland Browns game this season.

OUR VIEWING SITE LOCATION:

We host all Cleveland Browns games at The Liberty, located just one block from Herald Square — easily accessible from almost any Subway line.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• No Reservations! Seating starts 90 minutes before kickoff for regular season games (ie, 11:30 AM for 1pm games). Folks start lining up 10-15 minutes before seating begins so plan accordingly!
• Inside the bar, we can accommodate 300+ people. Seating options include 30+ solo seats at our center bar, dozens of 4-tops and 2-tops, loads of family style tables for 10 & 8 and a massive basement event space that can seat another 75 folks. We combine smaller parties like we’ve always done — so feel free to come with a group or solo and we’ll find you a spot!
• Our beautiful outdoor space can accommodate 75+ people. Heaters, comfy couches and lots of tables. 
• We also have TONS of standing room by the bar for those that show up closer to kickoff. 
• Get drunk. Order lots of food. Tip well. Don’t be an idiot.
  
• NO FANS FROM TEAMS WE’RE PLAYING THAT WEEK! If for some stupid reason you’re rooting for our opponent, or wearing their gear, you will NOT BE PERMITTED to watch the game (this counts for any friends or significant others that Browns fans might bring).
• NO STEELERS FANS! They are strictly prohibited, mocked relentlessly and cannot enter our establishment.
• NYC now requires all restaurants to check COVID Vaccination Cards upon entry — a simple photo of your card on your phone will suffice. If you don’t have proof of vaccination you can still watch in our outside area.

The Big Apple Browns Backers of NYC will be hosting our 2021 NFL Draft watch party on Thursday, April 29th, at our official viewing site The Liberty.

Doors open 7:30pm with the Draft kicking off at 8pm.

We’ll be towards the back of the main bar, with lots of reserved tables for Backers. No reservations needed — just show up!

We hope you can join our annual draft party, aka The Super Bowl Warm-Up Party, to talk football with your fellow Browns fans, get drunk and welcome new fans who have recently moved to the Big Apple.

Most of our normal Cleveland food & drink specials will be available: $6 Well spirits, house wines, & draft beer, $20 beer pitchers, $12 food options (nachos, cheeseburgers, pizzas & fried chicken sandwiches) plus $1 WINGS!

And if you haven’t already, please do officially join our chapter. It’s absolutely free and helps us get recognition by the Cleveland Browns organization and among other chapters around the country.

The day after a loss is always difficult, but today is a little easier knowing the Browns gave us one of the BEST seasons of Cleveland football in decades.

It was a wild year — COVID prevented us from hosting two NYC tailgates, it threw a wrench in hosting night games with state-mandated curfews, and it had us going from outdoor-only to partial indoor to outdoor-only yet again.

Through it all, our chapter members and fellow Browns fans came out to cheer on the team they love. We wanted to thank everyone for their diehard support, especially in these uncertain times.

You are the reason we do this and why the Big Apple Browns Backers are the most exciting backer chapter in the world.

HUGE shout out and thanks to the entire staff & ownership at The Liberty bar. You gave us a new home in a season of uncertainty, filled our bellies with delicious food and kept us sufficiently drunk — doing so with extreme professionalism and thoughtful execution. THANK YOU!
